Engagement Thermometer - Overview
Use the Engagement Thermometer module to run two different survey flows: Pulse Surveys for recurring lightweight measurement, and Insights Surveys for surveys with their own questions, dates, groups and reporting.
What is this collection for?
This collection explains the admin flows in the Engagement Thermometer module. Start here if you are not sure whether you need Pulse Surveys or Insights Surveys.
Where is the module in the backoffice?
Go to Modules > Engagement Thermometer. Under it you find:
Pulse Surveys, with Dashboard, Pulse Questions and Settings.
Insights Surveys. This entry is not shown to every company. If you do not see it in the menu, contact GFoundry support.
What is the difference between Pulse Surveys and Insights Surveys?
Pulse Surveys are the recurring survey flow. They use a built-in set of questions grouped into 9 metrics. The admin work is enabling or disabling questions, setting the frequency and the groups, and reviewing the dashboard and reports.
Insights Surveys are surveys you build yourself, each with a name, a start and end date, groups, and its own questions. You can create them from scratch or from templates, reuse questions from your question categories, review a dashboard per survey and export the data.
When should I use Pulse Surveys?
Use Pulse Surveys when you want short, regular engagement measurement with simple administration: choose how often users are asked, which questions are active and which groups take part, and follow the scores over time.
When should I use Insights Surveys?
Use Insights Surveys when you need a survey on a specific topic, for a specific period and audience, with questions you choose, such as feedback on a new company policy.
