Learn Dashboard: Statistics and Reports
An overview of the Learn Dashboard: the summary cards, user statistics, the report lists, and what each general report contains.
What can I do on this page?
Go to Modules > Learn > Dashboard. The page gives an overview of Learn activity, the statistics of each user, and entry points to export reports. For the broader reporting map, see Reports: Analyzing Engagement and Completion.
Which cards appear at the top?
Published Learn Content, Unpublished Learn Content and Unlisted Learn Content: how many Learn Contents are in each state.
Overall Quiz Stats: Global Quiz Performance, Total Quiz Plays and Total Quiz Play Time. When some of the activity happened in battle mode, the card shows how much, for example "(12 in battle mode)".
Total Quiz Completed Courses only appears when your organisation has courses.
What does the Total Quiz Plays chart show?
A chart of quiz plays. Set a Start Date and End Date, and switch between Daily and Monthly. This is the only part of the dashboard with a date range.
What does Users Statistics show?
Users Statistics lists each user with their quiz Performance. You can sort by performance, open the user with View Profile, and export that user's play time with Play Time Report.
To export the play time report for a user:
Go to Modules > Learn > Dashboard.
Find the Users Statistics section. Use the search field to find the user.
In the user's row, click Play Time Report.
Check your email. The report is prepared in the background and the download link is sent to you.
Which reports can I export?
The dashboard gives access to these report areas:
General Reports (button at the top of the page)
Competencies Reports (button at the top of the page, when your organisation uses skills)
Learn Categories Reports (when this section is available)
Published Content Reports
Courses & Certificates
Most reports are prepared in the background. After you choose a report, GFoundry shows "You will receive a link to download the report on your email soon", and the download link arrives by email.
General Reports
Click General Reports and choose one of these reports:
Unified Report: one consolidated report per user and Learn Content. See Unified Learning Report.
Finished All Classic: users who finished every classic mode quiz available to them.
Finished All Genious: users who finished every genius mode quiz available to them.
All Players: all players with their aggregated Learn activity.
Play times: time spent by each user on Learn content, per session.
All Players by quiz: player activity broken down per quiz.
Video plays: plays per user for every video attached to Learn content.
PDF opens: how many times each user opened the PDF attached to Learn content.
All Content Items: every Learn Content with its status, category and segmentation.
Competencies Reports
If you see Competencies Reports, it lets you export Users Competencies Performance, Users Competencies Progress, and a full report with progress and performance as percentages and absolute values.
Learn Categories Reports
If you see this section, use Export users progress report on a category row. See Learn Categories Reports.
Published Content Reports
This section lists each published Learn Content. Click Export Reports on a row to choose a report for that content. See Published Content Reports.
Courses & Certificates
This section lists each course with its Completed percentage and # finished, so you can see how many people finished it. This section has no export.
Where are Training Program and Curriculum reports?
They are not on the Learn Dashboard. Open the training program or curriculum details page and use its export action. See Progress and Completion in Training Programs and Progress and Completion in Curricula.
