A Deep Dive into Quiz Stats
See how a quiz is performing over time, how each question is answered and how each learner is doing. You can also export reports and, as a Learn Manager, reset quiz data.
How do I open Quiz Stats for a quiz?
Go to Modules > Learn > Learn Content and open the Learn Content that contains the quiz.
Select the Content Management tab.
In Content blocks, click the Quiz Content block.
Select the Quiz Stats tab.
The tab has three sections: Quiz Performance, Questions Performance and Users Performance.
What insights can I gain from Quiz Performance?
This section shows a chart of the quiz activity over time.
Use the Daily, weekly, Monthly and Yearly tabs to change how the chart groups the activity. For example, you can see if there was a spike in activity after you sent a reminder.
When there is data, you can also pick a date range and filter by quiz mode: Any Quiz Mode, Classic Quiz Mode or Genius Quiz Mode.
If the chart is empty, nobody has answered the quiz yet, or nothing was played in the selected period.
How can I use Questions Performance to improve my quiz?
This section lists every question in the quiz with its Performance: the percentage of correct answers to that question.
A question with a low percentage of correct answers may be poorly worded or confusing, or the training material may not explain the topic clearly enough. Consider revising the question or the content.
A question with a very high percentage may be too easy to challenge your learners.
To analyse the data outside GFoundry, open the section menu and select Questions Performance (xls).
How can Users Performance help me support learners?
This section lists every user who has played the quiz, with a chart of their performance. Use it to see which learners master the content and which ones may need support or a reminder.
Open the section menu and select Export Users Performance (xls) to export the list.
Open the menu on a user row to select Export User Answers (xls) or Export By Quiz Mode (xls) for that user.
How do I reset quiz data?
Only Learn Managers see the reset actions.
To reset one learner, open the menu on the user row and select Reset User Answers. All progress and answers of that user on this Learn Content are permanently deleted.
To reset everyone, open the Users Performance menu and select Reset all users progress. The Reset Quiz Data window explains what is deleted and lets you choose options before you click Reset Data.
Both actions cannot be undone, so use them with care.
