Reports: Analyzing Engagement and Completion
See how learners are progressing through Learn content and training programs, and export reports when you need to review results outside GFoundry.
Where can I find Learn reports?
Learn analytics are available at different levels, depending on whether you want a broad view or a detailed report for one item.
Use the Dashboard (Modules > Learn > Dashboard) for a view across all Learn activity. Use the details page of a Learn Content, quiz, training program or curriculum for data about that one item.
What can I review in the Dashboard?
The Dashboard shows the number of published, unpublished and unlisted Learn Contents, and Overall Quiz Stats: Global Quiz Performance, Total Quiz Plays, Total Quiz Play Time and, when your organisation has courses, Total Quiz Completed Courses.
It also has the Total Quiz Plays chart and the Users Statistics, Published Content Reports and Courses & Certificates sections, plus Learn Categories Reports when it is available. The General Reports button at the top exports reports across all Learn activity. See Learn Dashboard: Statistics and Reports.
Where do I review one specific content item?
Go to Modules > Learn > Learn Content, open the content and click Reports.... Learn Managers see this button when the content is published or archived. You can also export the same reports from Published Content Reports on the Dashboard.
Where do I review quiz performance?
Open the Learn Content, select the Content Management tab, click the Quiz Content block and select Quiz Stats. This is where you find question-level and user-level quiz reporting, with exports. See A Deep Dive into Quiz Stats.
Where do I review category, user, and training reports?
Use Learn Categories Reports for users' progress by category, and Users Statistics for each user's performance and play time.
For training programs and curricula, open their details page to review enrollments, progress and scores, and to export reports.
How should I interpret completion progress?
For a Learn Content, completion is based on its trackable blocks, such as videos, quizzes, PDFs, presentations, tasks and forms. See How is Learn Content Completion Calculated?
For training programs and curricula, each enrollment has a status: Not Started, In Progress, Completed or Failed.
Can I export report data?
Yes. Exports are available on the Dashboard, in Quiz Stats, on each Learn Content, and on training program and curriculum details pages. Most reports are prepared in the background and the download link is sent to your email.
