Progress and Completion in Curricula
See how learner progress is tracked in a curriculum, what each status means, and how to export enrollments, progress and scores. You can also require learners to complete items in order.
What does progress mean in a curriculum?
Progress shows how far a user has moved through the items of a curriculum. Open the curriculum from Modules > Learn > Training Management > Curricula. The User Progress table shows, for each user:
Progress: completed items out of all items, with a percentage.
Required Progress: completed required items out of all required items, with a percentage.
Status: Not Started, In Progress, Completed or Failed.
Started: the date the user started.
Can I require learners to complete items in order?
Yes. Click Edit on the curriculum and, in the Configurations section, select Require Sequential Completion. When this is on, learners must complete the curriculum items in order. The details page then shows Sequential Completion.
Use this when the order matters, for example when later items depend on earlier ones.
How do I review and export curriculum progress?
On the curriculum details page, use Search users... to find a user in User Progress.
Click Export Report and choose Enrollments Report to export all user enrollments, progress and scores. When the curriculum has evaluation steps, you can also export an evaluation report for each step.
What should I look for when checking completion?
Use the Status column to see who has not started, who is in progress and who has completed the curriculum. If no one has started yet, the page shows "No users have started this curriculum yet."
If you archive a curriculum, users can no longer access it.
