Progress and Completion in Curricula

Understand how Curricula track progress and completion across multiple Training Programs. Learn how required items, sequential completion, and curriculum-level evaluation stages affect learner progression, completion status, and reporting.

Progress and Completion in Curricula

See how learner progress is tracked in curricula, what the status labels mean, and how to export enrollment progress and scores. You can also require learners to complete items in order before moving on.

What does progress mean in a curriculum?

Progress shows how far a user has moved through the items in a curriculum. In curriculum details, you can review each user’s progress and see the required progress for the curriculum.

The user list also shows the current progress status for each enrollee, such as started, in progress, completed, or failed.

Can I require learners to complete items in order?

Yes. In the curriculum settings, you can enable Sequential Completion. When this is on, learners must complete curriculum items in order.

Use this when the order matters, for example when later items depend on earlier ones being completed first.

How do I review and export curriculum progress?

Open the curriculum details page to review enrollments and progress. You can search users from the curriculum view and check their progress and scores.

From the curriculum details page, use Export Report to download an enrollments report. This report includes user enrollments, progress, and scores. You can also export evaluation reports for individual evaluation steps when they are configured.

What should I look for when checking completion?

Use the curriculum user progress list to confirm whether users have started, are still in progress, or have completed the curriculum. If a user has not started yet, there will be no progress data for them.

If a curriculum is archived, users can no longer access it. Reports and historical progress data remain available.
