Progress and Completion in Training Programs

Learn how progress and completion are tracked in Training Programs. Understand how content completion, scheduling (start/due dates), enrolment rules, and optional evaluation stages affect learner status, deadlines, and reporting.

Progress and Completion in Training Programs

See how learner progress is tracked in training programs, what completion statuses mean, and where to review enrollments and reports. You can also export progress data and control whether learners must complete content in order.

What does progress mean in a training program?

Progress shows how far each enrolled user has advanced through a training program. In the training program details, you can review each user’s enrollment status, progress, and score.

The available enrollment statuses are Not Started, In Progress, Completed, and Failed. These help you quickly see who has started, who has finished, and who still needs attention.

Where can I review learner progress?

Open the training program details page and go to User Enrollments. There you can search for users and review their progress and score for that program.

If you need a broader view, the Learn dashboard also includes reports for training-related activity, including course completion information and user statistics. You can export reports from there when you need to share results or keep records.

Can I control how learners complete the content?

Yes. When you create or edit a curriculum, you can turn on Require Sequential Completion. When this is enabled, learners must complete the items in order.

Training programs also support a Content Completion Order setting. When you enable sequential completion, learners can only access the next required item after completing the previous one. This is useful when the training needs to be followed in a fixed sequence.

Can I export progress data?

Yes. From training program details, you can export a report for the program. The curriculum details page also offers an enrollments report that includes user enrollments, progress, and scores.

These exports are useful when you need to review completion outside GFoundry or share results with other teams.
