Requiring Sequential Completion in Training Programs and Curricula
Make learners complete items in a fixed order. Sequential completion is a setting of a Training Program or a Curriculum. A single Learn Content does not have this setting.
Can I set a completion order inside a Learn Content?
No. A Learn Content has no sequential completion option.
The Learning Path tab of a Learn Content links it to a next content, so learners can move between related contents with the arrows in the app. It does not block access to the next content.
The Training Validation & Evaluation tab is used to add participants and record scores for training that is validated manually. It does not control the order of anything.

How do I require sequential completion in a Training Program?
Go to Modules > Learn > Training Management > Training Programs.
Create a training program, or open an existing one and edit it.
In Settings & Notifications, find Content Completion Order.
Turn on Require Sequential Completion.
Save your changes.
When this is on, users can only access the next item after completing the previous required items.
How do I require sequential completion in a Curriculum?
Go to Modules > Learn > Training Management > Curricula.
Open the curriculum and click Edit, or create a new curriculum.
In the Configurations section, select Require Sequential Completion.
Save your changes.
When this is on, learners must complete the curriculum items in order. The curriculum details page shows Sequential Completion when the setting is on.
When should I use it?
Use sequential completion when later items depend on earlier ones, for example a program that builds step by step. Leave it off when learners can complete the items in any order.
If you do not see Training Management in the menu, you need the Admin or Training Manager backoffice role, and the training feature must be active for your organisation.
