Your path, learning paths and curricula: what is the difference?
Three things in Learn have similar names. Your path lists the steps inside one Learn Content. A learning path links several Learn Contents in order. A curriculum is a set of training programs assigned to you.
What is Your path?
Your path is the panel that lists the steps of one Learn Content (text, video, slides, quiz and so on), each with its status: To do, Up next, Done, Awaiting or Optional.
You only see it when the Learn Content opens as a Guided Experience, one step at a time. Your company chooses the view for each Learn Content.
A Learn Content that opens as a Stacked Page, with all its blocks on one page, has no Your path panel.
Your path stays inside that one Learn Content. It does not list other Learn Contents or training programs.
See How to complete a Learn Content.
What is a learning path?
A learning path is a sequence of Learn Contents that your company links in a set order, for example for onboarding or a certification. Each Learn Content in it opens as a normal Learn Content.
To move along the sequence, use Next and Previous on the Learn Content page. You do not need to go back to a list between them.
You do not enroll in a learning path. You open its Learn Contents like any other.
Learn Contents that belong to a training program are not part of learning paths.
What is a curriculum?
A curriculum is a set of training programs that your company groups together and assigns to you. You are enrolled in every program in it. On screen it is labelled Curriculum.
Where do I find my curricula?
In the side menu, open Development & Growth > Learn > Training.
Look for My curricula. It only appears if you have at least one curriculum.
Each row shows Curriculum, the number of items, Last updated and your Overall progress as a percentage.
What is inside a curriculum?
Click a row. The page shows the curriculum name, the number of items, when it was last updated and its description. Below, there is one card per training program, with the same statuses as in My training programs: Completed, In progress, Overdue, Scheduled or Not started.
A program that starts in the future opens as scheduled: you see its contents, but they open only from the start date.
How do I progress in a curriculum?
Open each program and complete its contents. The curriculum's Overall progress goes up as you do. See Training programs: progress, overdue and locked content.
Can I enroll in a curriculum myself?
No. A curriculum appears when your company assigns it to you. To join a single program, use More programs: see How to enroll in a course.
How do I tell them apart?
The steps inside one Learn Content: Your path, only in a Learn Content that opens one step at a time.
Several Learn Contents in a set order, with Next and Previous: a learning path.
Several training programs assigned to you, in Learn > Training > My curricula: a curriculum.
If your company uses Missions, a mission is something else again. See How missions work.
In the mobile app
Tap Menu at the bottom of the screen and then Learn (swipe left if you do not see it). Inside it, the sections (Catalogue, Training, Me, Achievements) are in the bar at the bottom. The pages and the steps are the same as on the web.
If you do not see this
You do not see Your path: the Learn Content opens as a Stacked Page, with all its blocks on one page.
You do not see Next or Previous: the Learn Content is not part of a learning path.
You do not see My curricula: you have no curriculum assigned.
You do not see Training in Learn: your company does not use training programs, or they are not available to your group.
Your company may use a different name for this area or place it elsewhere in the menu. The Learn module is where you find learning content, quizzes and training.
