The Marketplace is a virtual store where users exchange the virtual coins they earn on the platform for rewards. Admins set up categories and items, follow the exchanges and request reports.

The Marketplace lets users redeem their virtual coins for rewards that your company offers, such as vouchers, extra days off, experiences or contributions to social causes.

With the module you can:

In the backoffice, the module is under Modules > Marketplace and has three pages:

Go to Modules > Marketplace > Dashboard to see all transactions and their current status (Pending, In Progress or Completed). You can filter the list, click a transaction to change its status or description, and select several transactions to change their status at once.

To export, click Export and choose Export Transactions Report or Export Items Report. The report is prepared in the background and you receive a link to download it by email.

Virtual coins are the virtual currency each user has on the platform. Users spend them in the Marketplace, and also in the Learn module on paid quizzes and on quiz power-ups (in-game helps that cost coins).

Coins are mainly awarded through badges, which are the core of the gamification engine: each badge can give points and coins when a user completes the action that triggers it. Your company decides which actions award badges, for example completing content, reaching goals or receiving recognition from colleagues. Admins can also add or remove coins for a user directly with a coins transaction.

Yes. With Digital Vouchers, your company can generate codes worth a number of coins and distribute them, including in physical spaces. Users redeem the codes on the platform to receive the coins.

Items are anything you want to offer users as a reward: physical items, virtual items, experiences or benefits of any kind.

Go to Modules > Marketplace > Marketplace Items to see all items with their category, groups, price, stock and whether they are shippable. You can filter the list, for example to show only items with stock.

Vouchers for external services or products, additional days off, or other benefits that reflect your company's culture and your employees' preferences.

Items that let users turn their coins into contributions to charitable causes, which can foster a sense of social responsibility and community within the company.

In Marketplace Items, click New Item. Add the Image, Item name and, optionally, a Description and User Instructions on Exchange. Then fill in the SKU, the Stock (or tick Is stock unlimited?) and the Price, choose whether the item is shippable to the user's address, and add it to one or more categories under Marketplace Categories. Click Create.

An item that is not assigned to any category is not visible to users.

In Marketplace Items, click Export Report at the top of the page. You receive a link to download the report by email.

Go to Modules > Marketplace > Marketplace Categories to see all categories and how many items each has. You can create, edit and delete categories.

Click New Category, enter the Category name and, optionally, a Description, then click Create.

From the actions menu of each row you can use Quick Edit, Export Report and Delete. Click a category to open it and see all the items in that category, edit its details, or create a new item already assigned to it.

When users open the Marketplace, they see the available categories and the amount of coins they have:

After selecting a category, users choose an item and complete the exchange.

Users can review their own exchanges and their status in the Transactions tab.
