How to Use Marketplace Categories
Use Marketplace Categories to group items in the Marketplace and manage those groups from the categories list or a specific category page. You can create, edit, and delete categories, then assign items to them from the item details page.
How do I open Marketplace Categories?
Go to Modules > Marketplace > Marketplace Categories. The categories list lets you create new categories and open an existing one to view its details.
Go to Modules > Marketplace > Marketplace Categories.
To create a category, click New Category.
To view an existing category, click the category name in the list.
How do I create a category?
From Modules > Marketplace > Marketplace Categories, click New Category.
Enter the Category name.
Optionally add a description.
Click Create.
How do I edit or delete a category?
Open the category from Modules > Marketplace > Marketplace Categories, then click Edit.
Update the Category name or description.
Click Update to save your changes.
To remove the category, click Delete from the category details screen and confirm the deletion.
Deleting a category removes it from the Marketplace. Make sure you reassign any items you still want users to see before you delete it.
How do I assign items to a category?
Open the item from Modules > Marketplace > Marketplace Items, then edit the item and add it to one or more categories. If an item has no category, it will not be visible to users.
Go to Modules > Marketplace > Marketplace Items.
Open the item details.
Select the category or categories for the item.
Click Update.
