Marketplace Module Field and Validation Reference
Use this reference to check the fields available when you create or edit marketplace items and categories, and to understand the validation rules for each one.
Which fields are available when you create or edit a Marketplace item?
Use these fields when you set up an item in Modules > Marketplace > Marketplace Items.
Image: Add the item image. This field is required.
Item name: Enter the name shown for the item. This field is required.
Description: Enter the item description. This field is required.
User Instructions on Exchange: Add any instructions users should follow when they exchange this item.
SKU: Enter the item SKU if you use one for internal tracking.
Stock: Enter the available stock. This field is required unless you use Unlimited.
Price: Enter the item price. This field is required.
Shippable: Select this option if the item can be shipped.
Unlimited: Select this option if the item should not use a fixed stock limit.
Groups Segmentation: Use this section to limit the item to specific groups, if group segmentation is enabled for your Marketplace.
When you save a new item, the form must be complete and valid before you can create it.
Which fields are available when you create or edit a Marketplace category?
Use these fields when you set up a category in Modules > Marketplace > Marketplace Categories.
Category name: Enter the category name. This field is required.
Description: Enter the category description.
Category names are managed per locale when your company uses more than one language.
Which fields are available in a Marketplace transaction?
Use these fields when you review or edit a transaction from Modules > Marketplace > Dashboard.
ID: Read-only transaction identifier.
Item: Shows the item linked to the transaction.
User: Shows the user linked to the transaction. This field is required.
Price: Shows the transaction value.
Description: Enter or review the transaction description.
Status: Select the transaction status.
When you select multiple transactions, the bulk edit window lets you update the available fields in one action.
