What happens when you archive a Learn Content item, and how to bring it back. Archived content is hidden from learners, but its reports and history stay in the backoffice.

Archived Learn Content is no longer visible in the application, so learners cannot access it. In the backoffice, the content is marked Archived and is no longer editable: its details page shows a warning instead of the content tabs.

All historical data and reports remain available in the backoffice.

You can also archive an item from its row actions in the Learn Content list.

Archived items are hidden from the Learn Content list by default. Open the filters and use Display Archived Learn Content to show only archived items. Archived items are marked with the Archived status.

On an archived content item, the available actions are:

Editing, duplicating and publishing are not available while the content is archived. Unarchive it first.

The archive is removed and the content returns to the status it had before it was archived. For example, content that was Published when you archived it becomes available to learners again as soon as you unarchive it. If you want to review it first, unpublish it right after unarchiving.

No. Archiving keeps the existing reports and historical data in the backoffice. It only hides the content from learners in the application.

Archiving only changes the Learn Content item. If the item is part of a Training Program, review that program too.

The Archive and Unarchive actions and the Display Archived Learn Content filter are only shown to Learn managers. If you do not see them, your backoffice role does not allow you to change the item's status.
