How to enroll in a course

Find a course in the learning area, open it and select Enroll on course. Some courses need your manager's approval, and some start on a later date.

What is this for?

Some courses are assigned to you, and others you can join yourself. When a course is open for enrollment, its page shows Ready to start? and Enroll to unlock this course content. Your organization decides which courses you can join, whether enrollment needs approval and what the learning area is called in your menu.

Steps

  1. Open the learning area of the platform. If you see tabs, the courses you can explore are usually under Catalogue; some organizations give this tab another name.

  2. Look for the course under More programs, or type its name in Search training programs.

  3. Open the course. Its page shows the description and, when available, the learning objectives.

  4. Select Enroll on course and confirm.

What happens next

  • Enrollment without approval: the course moves to your courses and its content is unlocked.

  • Enrollment with approval: the confirmation says Are you sure that you want to enroll on this course? Your enrollment will be pending for approval. After you confirm, the course shows Enrollment request submitted. Awaiting manager approval and is marked Pending enrollment until your manager decides.

  • Course with a start date: the course shows You are enrolled in this course. The course starts on followed by the date. Until then, the course content is not available.

Following your progress

  • Inside the course, Overall progress and the count of steps done show how far you are.

  • Some content must be finished before you can continue. The course tells you what is missing, for example Watch the video to the end to continue or Read the PDF to the end to continue.

  • Courses can be marked Mandatory or Optional. If a mandatory course has a deadline that has passed, you see Deadline passed and the date by which it should have been completed.

If you cannot enroll

  • If you do not see Enroll on course, the course may already be assigned to you, your enrollment may be pending, or the course may not be open for enrollment.

  • For courses you need but cannot join, contact your manager or your platform support contact.
