Training Program Target Audience: Groups and Specific Users
Use Target Audience to limit a Training Program to whole groups, selected users, or both. If you do not choose anyone, all users can access the training.
How do I assign a Training Program to groups or specific users?
Go to Modules > Learn > Training Management > Training Programs, then open the Training Program in Edit Training Program or create a new one with Add Training Program.
Go to Target Audience.
Under Group Segmentation, select the groups that should have access to the training.
Under Specific Users, select the individual users you want to include.
Use one or both options, depending on who should receive the training.
Save the Training Program.
Users in the selected groups will have access to the training. Users added under Specific Users will also have access, even if they are not in a selected group.
What if I do not select any groups or users?
If you do not make a selection in Target Audience, all users have access to the Training Program.
Can I assign the training to a whole group?
Yes. Use Group Segmentation to assign the Training Program to entire groups. Everyone in the selected groups will have access.
Can I mix groups and individual users?
Yes. You can use Group Segmentation and Specific Users together in the same Training Program.
