Training Program Scheduling and Recurrence
Set when a training program starts, when learners must complete it, and whether it is reassigned on a recurring schedule. Use these fields to control access timing and expiry for each assignment.
What do I need to fill in for scheduling?
In Scheduling, set the dates that control when the training becomes available and when it is due. The same area also defines whether the training is assigned once or repeated over time.
Training Start Date: Choose the date when the training becomes active. This field is required.
Due Date Rule: Select how learners must complete the training. Use a fixed date, or set a due date based on a number of days after the start date.
Due Date: Use this only when the due date rule is fixed. The due date is required in that case, and it must be after the start date.
Number of Days: Use this only when the due date rule is based on days. Enter at least 1 day.
Recurrence: Choose how often the training is reassigned: One-time, Annual, Biannual, Quarterly, or Monthly.
Recurrence Frequency: Use this field to define the reassignment frequency.
How do I set the schedule step by step?
Open the training program.
Go to Scheduling.
Set the Training Start Date.
Choose a Due Date Rule.
Complete either Due Date or Number of Days, depending on the rule you selected.
Choose a Recurrence value if you want the training to be reassigned.
Save the training program.
What validation should I expect?
If you use a fixed due date, the date is required and must come after the start date. If you use a day-based rule, Number of Days must be at least 1. If a required field is missing, you need to complete it before saving.
If you do not select a recurrence, the training is treated as a one-time assignment.
