Engagement Thermometer - Export Results, Answers and User Status
Export Insights Survey data from the survey list or from a survey's dashboard. The user status file downloads straight away; results and answers are prepared in the background and sent to your email as a download link.
Where do I export Insights Survey data?
Go to Modules > Engagement Thermometer > Insights Surveys. You can export in two places:
Insights Surveys List: open the actions menu of the survey.
Survey Dashboard tab of a survey: use the Actions panel on the right. This panel is only shown to users who manage the Engagement Thermometer.
What does each export option include?
Export User Status: an Excel file with one line per user in the survey, with the columns Name, ID, Category, Manager, Manager ID and Status (Open or Closed). The download starts in a new browser tab.
Export Results: the results report of the survey.
Export Answers: the answer-level export of the survey.
The Group Users Thermometer Report and Team Users Thermometer Report are Pulse Survey reports, not Insights Survey exports. See Engagement Thermometer - Pulse Survey Reports.
When are the export options shown?
Export User Status is always available.
Export Results is always in the list's actions menu. On the Survey Dashboard, it only appears once the survey is Open or Closed.
Export Answers only appears when answer-level export is allowed for that survey. This option is not on the survey form. If you do not see Export Answers, use the other options.
What happens after I request an export?
For Export Results and Export Answers, you see a message that you will receive a link to download the report on your email soon. GFoundry prepares the file and sends the link to the email address of your user. Use that link to download the file.
For Export User Status, the file downloads directly and no email is sent.
What if the export fails?
If you see Failed to download Report!, try again later. If the problem continues, contact GFoundry support.
