Comments and comments moderation

Comments and comments moderation

Use the Community Management comment areas to review comments inside one Community or moderate comments across communities from the dedicated moderation list.

Why is enabling user comments important?

Enabling users to comment is crucial as it fosters open communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Comments provide a platform for users to express ideas, seek clarification, and engage in meaningful discussions, contributing to a more interactive and dynamic user experience.

Users have the possibility to add comments on a variety of pages, namely:

  • Goals (Evaluation Module)

  • Feedbacks (Feedback Module and Evaluation Module)

  • PDI(Individual Development Plan) details(Evaluation Module)

  • Innovation (Innovation Module)

  • Learn Content preview

  • Events

  • News

  • Team (only if enabled)

  • Tribes

How can a user add a comment?

By navigating to one of the previously mentioned pages, the user will encounter a comment section.

Here, they can add their comment and view comments from other people. When adding a new comment, the user can also post an image from their device if desired.

Additionally, users can "tag" someone, and doing so will prompt the tagged individuals to receive a push notification. These push notifications are also received when someone replies to the user's comment.

How do users report a comment?

The normal user will have the option to report comments as shown below:

What is the difference between Community Comments and Comments Moderation?

Community Comments are the comments shown inside one specific Community. Use them when you are reviewing discussion in a known Community.

Comments Moderation is the broader admin view for moderation across communities. Use it when you want one place to review comment issues or remove comments without opening each Community one by one.

Where do I review comments inside one Community?

Go to Community Management > Communities, open the Community you want, and then use the comment-related area inside Community Details.

Where do I moderate comments across communities?

Go to Community Management > Comments Moderation.

That is the better entry point when the goal is moderation and not day-to-day review of one single Community.

What can I usually do from the moderation flow?

The moderation flow is where admins review the relevant comment record and decide whether to keep it or remove it.

Use the dedicated actions from the moderation list when you need to delete a comment or review the item in more detail before taking action.

How is comments moderation handled?

Under the Community Management you will find the page "Comments Moderation", here you will see all the comments throughout the platform that have been reported as well as the date and Author.

You will have the option to delete the report if the comment is within the norms, or delete the actual comment if it goes against the norms.
