How should an administrator manage individual and team goals in Touchpoints and evaluations?
Identify the goal type, cycle, status, creation date, team assignment, and sync state when a goal is missing, outdated, or cannot be edited.
Follow this troubleshooting flow
Confirm the affected user, cycle or period, and Touchpoint or evaluation.
Identify whether the expected goal is individual or assigned through a team.
Check the goal's status, start and end dates, and creation or last-change date.
Confirm that the user belonged to the relevant team when the goal was assigned.
Check whether the goal or team assignment changed after the evaluation or Touchpoint was created.
Review whether an authorised administrative sync or update is required.
After the update, refresh the user's record and verify the goal, status, and editable fields.
What is the difference between individual and team goals?
Individual goal: assigned directly to one user.
Team goal: assigned through a team and available to the relevant team members according to the active process rules.
A cycle may accept one type, the other, or both. Check the active configuration before deciding that a goal is missing.
Why can a recently created or changed goal be missing?
An evaluation or Touchpoint may have been created before the goal or team change. In that situation, the existing process record may require an authorised sync or refresh to include the latest structure. First confirm the dates and assignments; do not create a duplicate goal as a workaround.
Which fields can be edited?
Editability depends on the goal status, process stage, and permissions. Review the available edit action and the active cycle rules before changing the target, dates, weight, progress, team, or other fields. A completed or evaluated goal may have different restrictions from a draft or active goal.
When should I contact Support?
Contact Support when the goal belongs to the correct cycle and user or team, the expected update or sync has been performed, and the goal remains missing or inconsistent. Include the user, cycle, goal type and status, creation date, team, change date, and fields that should be visible or editable.
