Who can export and import scopes?

The Export Scopes and Import Scopes buttons appear at the top of the Feedback Scopes page only for administrators. If you do not see them, ask an administrator of your platform.

How do I export Feedback Scopes?

  1. Go to Modules > Feedback > Feedback Scopes.

  2. Select Export Scopes at the top of the page.

  3. In the window, select Export.

  4. Your browser downloads a file named feedback-scopes-export- followed by the date, with the .json extension.

How do I import Feedback Scopes?

  1. Go to Modules > Feedback > Feedback Scopes in the environment that should receive the scopes.

  2. Select Import Scopes at the top of the page.

  3. In Select JSON file, choose the file you exported.

  4. Select Import. The button stays unavailable until a file is selected.

When the import finishes, a message shows how many scopes were imported, and the list reloads. Review the imported scopes in the list, including their status, groups and questions, before your users start using them.

What file do I need?

Use the JSON file downloaded with Export Scopes. The import field expects a JSON file.
