How to see your team's feedback and ask for feedback about someone

If you manage a team, the My Team tab of Feedback shows your team's shared feedback, per team and per person, and lets you ask a colleague for feedback about someone in your team.

Before you start

  • You are set up in GFoundry as the manager of at least one team. Only then does the My Team or My Teams tab appear in Feedback.

  • You only see feedback about your team that is shared with you. Feedback a person keeps private does not appear and does not count in the numbers.

See your team's feedback

  1. In the side menu, open Development & Growth > Feedback > My Team.

  2. If you manage one team, its page opens. If you manage several, the tab is called My Teams and shows My managed teams: click a team.

  3. At the top you see Total feedbacks and Average team rating. Below are Team feedbacks count, with one card per feedback type, and the team charts. The filter here has only By date and By scope, and starts at the current year.

  4. In Team users, click a person. If the team has more than six people, open the full list below the grid.

The person's page shows Total feedbacks, Average user rating, the person's feedbacks count and charts, and the person's latest feedbacks. The latest feedbacks are the three most recent shared ones and do not follow the filter. Open the full list to filter By scope, By status, By user and By date. Click a feedback to read it in Feedback details, marked Details of feedback shared with me.

Ask for feedback about someone in your team

  1. Open the person's page as above.

  2. Next to Choose an user and ask for feedback about followed by the person's name, click Ask for feedback.

  3. Choose the Feedback type and write the Feedback context.

  4. In Select user, choose the colleague who will answer. You cannot choose the team member the feedback is about.

  5. Send the request with the button at the bottom of the form. You see Request successfully placed. Please wait for your requested feedback.

GFoundry: ask for feedback about a team member, from the member's feedback page

The feedback is always shared with you; there is no share option in this form. The colleague sees Manager asked my feedback about followed by the person's name, with the stamp Manager request. The team member sees Manager asked followed by the colleague's name and for feedback about me.

If you evaluate someone and the evaluation has a Feedbacks section with Ask feedback, you can also ask from there. The request counts for that evaluation.

Notifications you receive

  • When someone in your team shares a feedback with you.

  • When someone in your team completes a feedback about themselves.

In the mobile app

Tap Menu at the bottom of the screen and then Feedback (swipe left if you do not see it). Inside it, the sections of the module are in the bar at the bottom. The pages and the steps are the same as on the web.

If you do not see this

  • If there is no My Team tab, GFoundry does not have you as the manager of a team, even if you evaluate people. Contact your platform administrator.

  • Your company may use a different name for this area or place it elsewhere in the menu. If your menu has no side groups, look for Feedback in the list of modules at the top.

  • If you do not see the averages or the charts, your company does not show them.

  • If a feedback you expect is missing, it may not be shared, or it may not be completed yet. Also check the By date filter.
