Who sees your feedback, and what the numbers and charts mean
Feedback is never anonymous. Your manager sees a feedback you receive only when it is shared. The counts and charts in My feedback summarise your feedback for the period in the filter.
Is feedback anonymous?
No. The name of the person who gave a feedback and the name of the person who received it always appear.
Who can read a feedback I received?
You and the person who gave it.
Your manager, only if the feedback is shared. A shared feedback has the tag Visible to manager.
A feedback is shared when:
you ticked Share in Share with manager when you asked for it;
you shared it after receiving it;
your manager asked for it;
you asked for it from your evaluation;
the person who gave it without a request chose to share it.
With some feedback types, the answers are hidden from the person they are about. You see that the feedback exists, but you cannot open it.
How do I share a feedback with my manager after receiving it?
Open Feedback > My feedback and find it in My received feedback.
Open its three-dot menu and choose Share with manager.
Confirm when asked Are you sure that you want to share this feedback with your manager? Your manager is notified.
Where do I find each feedback?
My feedback tab: My pending feedback (requests you have to answer and feedback you started) and My received feedback.
Ask feedback tab: My requested feedbacks, your requests that are still open or were declined.
Give feedback tab: My given feedbacks.
Click a completed feedback to open Feedback details, with the answers, the Result and the comments. A comment you add is saved at once.
Why can I not find an older feedback?
The lists, counts and charts open filtered from the start of the current year (From followed by the year). To see older feedback:
Click the filter button next to the section title.
In By date, change the Date interval: From the year, Year, Quarter or Month, or None for no date limit.
Apply the filters.
The date filter uses the date the feedback was last updated; the date on each row is the date it was created. You can also filter By scope (feedback type), By status (Awaiting response, Answered feedbacks, Rejected feedbacks), By user and By visibility (Only me, To manager). In My feedback, the filter next to My pending feedback applies to the whole page.
What do the numbers in My feedbacks count mean?
My feedbacks count shows one card per feedback type, for the period in the filter: Requested feedbacks, Given feedbacks and Received feedbacks. For some types, the first number is Answers Collaborator instead.
What do the charts show?
Classification charts by scope: one chart per feedback type, with the average rating per question. The scale goes from the lowest to the highest rating of each question.
Classification charts by category: when the questions are grouped in categories, the average rating per category.
When there are self-assessments, each line has two bars: Manager and Collaborator. No answers means the manager has not answered yet.
Average per checklist: if your company uses checklists, the manager's and your average rating in each checklist, as a simple average of its categories.
Only questions with ratings appear in the charts. A chart with no data shows an empty box.
In the mobile app
Tap Menu at the bottom of the screen and then Feedback (swipe left if you do not see it). Inside it, the sections of the module are in the bar at the bottom. The pages and the steps are the same as on the web.
If you do not see this
Your company may use a different name for this area or place it elsewhere in the menu.
If there are no charts, your company does not show them.
