OKRs - Achievement Rewards (Gamification)

OKRs - Achievement Rewards (Gamification)

Achievement Rewards are level-based badges that recognise good OKR practices over time, such as regular check-ins and on-time results. You enable them in the Gamification Engine.

What are Achievement Rewards for OKRs?

Achievement Rewards add badges with levels to the OKR experience. Users earn a level according to how they perform over a time window, which motivates consistent check-ins and on-time delivery.

Which OKR behaviours can they reward?

  • Weekly check-ins.

  • Objectives achieved on time, for the objectives the user leads.

  • Key Results achieved on time, for the Key Results the user leads.

  • Initiatives finished on time, for the initiatives the user leads.

Each badge measures one of these behaviours over a time window, for example the last 3 months, the last 6 months or all time.

How do I enable a badge?

  1. Go to Gamification Engine > Achievement Rewards.

  2. In the Badges list, find the badge and select Enable.

  3. Open Details to see its Badge Levels and their Ranges.

If the list shows There are no Badges defined for your company, please contact us if you want to enable them., contact GFoundry to set them up.

How do levels work?

Each badge has levels (for example bronze, silver and gold). Each level covers a range of the measured value, such as the percentage of weekly check-ins done in the window. The levels and ranges defined for your company are shown in Badge Levels. Each level can have its own name, image, description and Win Text, shown to the user when they reach it.

Why use them?

  • Engagement: users are motivated to keep their OKRs up to date.

  • Clear milestones: levels give tangible steps to reach.

  • Accountability: badges reflect consistency and on-time delivery.

  • Long-term engagement: time windows reward consistency, not short bursts of activity.
