Competitions group pattern rankings allows you to automatically create competition rankings based on type on groups.

ie: You have groups with the format [Department] Department X, [Department] Department Y, [Department] Department Z, you can add the pattern [Department] and have a ranking created for each department and a ranking for your departments.

On a competition, look for the "Ranking segregation patterns" section (If you don't have the section there please contact support to enable it for you).

Create the groups if you haven't already

Add the corresponding users to their groups

Update your competition by uploading the competitions file or by API (just like you normally do)

Your users now see a ranking for their Department
