How to install and use the mobile app
Install the app your company uses, then sign in. The app shows the same pages as the web; what changes is how you move around: a bar at the bottom of the screen, a Menu with all your modules, and a Settings page.
Which app to install
Your company uses one of two apps:
The GFoundry app. In the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android), search for GFoundry and install it.
Your company's own app. Some companies have an app with their own name and look. In that case, search the App Store or Google Play for the name of your company's app, not for GFoundry.
If you do not know which one your company uses, ask your administrator or HR team. Both work the same way, as described below.
Signing in
Open the app and tap Login.
Sign in the way your company uses: your email and password, then Login, or Company Sign In under Or login with to use your company account. Some companies show only one of the two.
The bar at the bottom
On the Home page, the bar has three buttons: Home, Menu and My profile.
Inside a module, the bar shows the sections of that module, with Menu always in the middle. In Learn, for example: Catalogue, Training, Me and Achievements.
The Menu
Tap Menu to see everything you can open:
At the top: Privacy terms, Settings, My profile, Community feed and Redeem voucher.
Below: the modules your company uses, such as Learn, Recognition, Feedback, OKR's, Tasks, Forms, Market, My Career, Competitions and Comparisons. If there are many, swipe left to see the next page.
Search and notifications
At the top of every page you have the search and the notifications bell, as on the web.
Settings
Open Menu and tap Settings. This page only exists in the app:
Banners: show or hide the image at the top of each page.
Sound Effects: turn the app's sounds on or off.
Language: choose the language of the app. Only the languages your company offers appear.
Account: Logout and Delete Account.
Close Settings with the X at the top right.
If you do not see this
A module is missing from the Menu: your company may not use it, or it is not available to your group. Ask your administrator.
Your company may use different names for some modules.
