Points and coins: what is the difference?
Points measure your activity and place you in each module's ranking. Coins are a balance you spend, for example in the Market. Spending coins never lowers your points.
What are points?
Points measure what you do in each module. Each module has its own points and its own ranking, by month and in total. Points are never spent.
What are coins?
Coins are a single balance you can spend. If your company uses the Market, you exchange coins for products there. Your company may give coins a different name.
Where do I see my points and coins?
Open My profile from the menu under your name at the top of the page. The top of the page shows Total Coins and, if your company uses Learn, Total Points.
In My profile > Rankings, each module shows your Ranking position and your Points in it.
In the Market, the top of Products shows your Coins, and each product shows N Coins available.
How do I earn points?
Through what you do in each module, for example playing quizzes in Learn, and through badges that give points. Each badge shows what it gives when you open it.
How do I earn coins?
Badges that give coins.
Vouchers your company gives you.
Coins your company adds to your balance directly.
What can I spend coins on?
Products in the Market, if your company uses it.
In Learn, if your company uses them: quiz helps that cost coins, and quizzes you buy with coins.
Does spending coins lower my points or my ranking?
No. Points and coins are separate. Your points and your position in the rankings stay the same when you spend coins.
Can I turn points into coins?
No. Points are not spent, and there is no option to exchange them for coins.
In the mobile app
In the mobile app, tap My profile at the bottom of the screen. Your coins and points are at the top, as on the web.
If you do not see this
Your profile shows Badges won instead of Total Points: your company does not use Learn, so your points are only shown per module, in Rankings.
You do not see Rankings in your profile: your company has turned rankings off.
You do not see the Market in the menu: your company may not use it. Your company may use a different name for this area or place it elsewhere in the menu.
