How comparisons work
In Comparisons you choose your favourite of two items, pair after pair. You see your own ranking as you go, and the global ranking when the comparison ends.
What is a comparison?
A comparison is a short preference game. Your company adds a set of items, each with an image, a title and a description. You see two items at a time and choose the one you prefer, until there are no more pairs. Your choices build your own ranking of the items. When the comparison ends, you also see the global ranking of everyone's choices.
Where do I find comparisons?
In the side menu, under Participation & Collaboration, open Comparisons. At the top you see your points in this module and how many comparisons you have done. Below:
Choose comparison: the comparisons open now, each with Open comparison and the date it is available until.
Other comparisons already completed: comparisons that have ended, with Closed comparison and the date they ended.
How do I take part?
In Choose comparison, click a comparison.
Under Start comparing, click Start.
You see two items. Click the one you prefer. The next pair appears.
Repeat until you see Congratulations! and You've come to the end of comparisons! Click Back.
Can I change a choice?
No. Each click is saved at once and there is no way to undo it. Look at both items before you click.
Can I stop and continue later?
Yes. The choices you made are saved. When you open the comparison again, click Continue under Continue to compare. You also see My comparisons ranking with your choices so far.
When do I see everyone's results?
Only when the comparison ends. If you finish your pairs earlier, you see You have finished your comparisons. You have to wait for the cycle to end to see the overall ranking! After the end, the comparison shows My comparisons ranking and Global comparisons ranking. Click an item to see its details and Position on ranking.
Until when can I take part?
Until the date shown in the list. Inside the comparison, This comparison ends in: counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds left. When it reaches the end, you see Comparison cycle ended. If time runs out while you have the page open, you see You have run out of time to perform this comparison!
Why don't I see a new comparison?
Only comparisons that have already started are listed. A comparison planned for later appears on its start date.
Where are the points and badges of this module?
The Achievements tab of Comparisons shows the points ranking for this module and your badges.
In the mobile app
Tap Menu at the bottom of the screen and then Comparisons (swipe left if you do not see it). Inside it, the sections of the module are in the bar at the bottom. The pages and the steps are the same as on the web.
If you do not see this
Your company may not use Comparisons, or the module is not available to your group.
Your company may use a different name for this area or place it elsewhere in the menu.
