Who receives the emails about Marketplace purchases?
When someone redeems an item in the Marketplace, the people with the Marketplace Manager role receive an email. The buyer receives an email when the request is completed or rejected.
Which emails are sent?
New purchase: sent to every user with the Marketplace Manager role. The buyer does not receive an email at this point.
Purchase completed: sent to the buyer when the request is marked as done, unless your organisation has asked GFoundry to turn these buyer emails off.
Purchase rejected: sent to the buyer when the request is rejected. The coins are returned.
How do I make someone receive the new purchase emails?
Give them the Marketplace Manager role in their user profile. Every user with this role receives the emails; having the Admin role alone is not enough.
Can the emails go to a shared mailbox?
The emails are sent to the email address of each Marketplace Manager; there is no separate address to configure. To use a shared mailbox, create a user with that mailbox's email address and give it the Marketplace Manager role.
Someone should receive the email but doesn't
Check that the person has the Marketplace Manager role.
Check their spam or junk folder, and any filter in your company's email system.
Check that the purchase appears in the Marketplace transactions. If it does, the purchase was recorded; the issue is only the email.
When should I contact Support?
Contact Support when the person has the role, the purchase is listed, and the email is not in their inbox or spam. Include the transaction, its date and time, and the email address that should have received it.
