Who can delegate, receive, remove, or manage an evaluation delegation?
Check the process, roles, organisational assignment, delegable population, and current delegation status when a person or action is unavailable.
Follow this troubleshooting flow
Confirm the cycle, user evaluation, and responsibility that needs to be delegated.
Check whether the process and relevant step are open.
Confirm that the person creating or managing the delegation has the required role.
Verify that the intended recipient belongs to an eligible team, mission, or organisational population and can receive the responsibility.
Check whether the cycle permits delegation while blocked or closed.
Review the current delegation status and confirm whether it can be changed or removed.
After an authorised change, ask the delegated manager to refresh the platform and verify the assigned action.
Why can’t I find the intended recipient?
The recipient's role or manager profile does not meet the delegation rule.
Their team or mission is not configured as delegable.
They are outside the organisational population available to the administrator.
The selected cycle or process does not include them.
Why is there no delegation button?
The current administrator lacks the required permission.
The process or step is closed or blocked.
Delegation is not available for that responsibility or status.
A previous delegation must be completed, changed, or removed first.
What should I verify before changing or removing a delegation?
Confirm who currently owns the evaluation, whether work has already been submitted, and who should receive any remaining actions. Changing a delegation can affect responsibility and visibility, so do not remove it only to test whether the button reappears.
When should I contact Support?
Contact Support when roles, delegable population, process status, and current ownership are correct but the expected recipient or action is unavailable. Include the cycle, affected user, current and intended manager, responsibility being delegated, process status, and the administrator's role.
