Task List Segmentation and Audience Targeting
Use audience segmentation to decide which users can see a task list. You can target groups, teams, or both when you create or edit the list.
How do I target a task list to specific users?
Go to Modules > Tasks > Task Lists.
Select Add Task List to create a new list, or open an existing list and choose Edit.
In Task List Details, fill in the Task List title and add a description if needed.
Find Content Segmentation.
Use the available audience fields to choose the users who should see the list. Depending on your setup, you can segment by Groups Segmentation and/or Teams Segmentation. Teams Segmentation only appears when the Teams feature is enabled on your tenant.
Turn Enabled on if you want the list to be visible to users.
Select Create for a new list, or Update for an existing one.
What should I do if I want the list to stay hidden?
Leave Enabled off. An existing list that is disabled is not active for users.
How do I change the audience later?
Go to Modules > Tasks > Task Lists, then select the list you want to change.
Choose Edit.
Update the values in Content Segmentation, Groups Segmentation, or Teams Segmentation.
Select Update.
