Role Play Block
Create a role play inside a Learn Content item so learners can practice a guided conversation with an AI persona. You can test it before publishing and later review the sessions started by learners.
Note: The Role Play block requires the role-play configuration to be enabled for your tenant. If you do not see a Role Play tab inside Learn Content, ask the GFoundry team to enable it.
How do I create a Role Play?
Go to Modules > Learn > Learn Content, then open the Learn Content item you want to edit.
Go to the Role Play tab.
Click Create.
In Describe the scenario you want learners to practice..., write the conversation you want learners to practice.
Wait for the assistant to prepare the role play.
Use Send to continue the setup conversation, or Stop if you want to pause it.
Select Test role play to try the scenario before you publish it.
When you are ready, click Publish.
The role play is created inside the Learn Content item and uses the content context to help prefill the scenario. The draft should be tested before publishing.
How do I test a Role Play before publishing it?
Go to Modules > Learn > Learn Content, open the Learn Content item, and then open the role play setup.
Click Test role play.
Type a reply in Reply as the learner....
Continue the conversation until you are happy with the flow.
Use Restart to start over, or Retry after a finished session.
The test view shows the conversation, the evaluation, and the role play details. This helps you check the experience before learners see it.
Where can I review learner sessions?
Go to Modules > Learn > Learn Content, open the role play content after it is created. The Sessions section shows learner attempts with their status, score, number of turns, duration, and start time.
You can open a session to review the conversation. If a session was evaluated, you can also review its evaluation details.
