You can also change the status in the badge form: choose Quick Edit in the actions menu, or open the badge and click Edit, then use Is enabled? and click Update.

What happens when a badge is enabled?

An enabled badge can be earned when its trigger conditions are met. If the badge awards points or coins, users receive them when they earn it.

What happens when a badge is disabled?

A disabled badge cannot be earned, so users also cannot earn the points or coins linked to it. In the list, its status shows Disabled with the tooltip This Badge is not available. Enable it to use it in engagement flow.

The badge stays in the list, so you can enable it again later. To remove it permanently, use Delete instead.

What does it mean when all badges are disabled?

When no badge is enabled, the page shows the notice All Badges are Disabled: users can't earn points or coins by completing challenges or activities. Enable at least one badge to start rewarding users again.

Can I see who earned a badge before changing its status?

Yes. Click the badge in the list to open Badge Details. The List of Users that earned this Badge shows each user and when they earned it. Click a user's name to open their profile.
