How do I add a close reason?

  1. Go to Modules > Forms & Surveys > Forms List and open the form.

  2. On the Form Details page, find the Close Reasons section.

  3. Click Add Close Reason.

  4. Enter the text in the Close Reason field.

  5. Click Create.

How do I edit a close reason?

  1. In the Close Reasons section, click the reason, or its edit icon.

  2. Update the Close Reason field.

  3. Click Update.

How do I delete a close reason?

  1. In the Close Reasons section, click the delete icon on the reason's row (or open the reason and click Delete).

  2. Confirm the deletion.

When is a close reason used?

When you use Update Status on a response, from the Responses List or from Response Details, and set the status to Closed, a Close Reason list appears if the form has close reasons. In that case you must pick one before you can save. If the form has no close reasons, the response is closed without one.

The selected reason is shown as Close Reason in the response's details.
