Evaluation Actions: Open/Close Self, Manager, Future and Final Score Sharing
Change the stage of a user's evaluation from the user evaluation page: open or close the self, manager and future steps, force a manager score, and set and share the final score.
Where are the evaluation actions?
Go to Modules > Evaluation & Careers > Evaluation Cycles and open the cycle.
Select See all users and open the user.
On the Cycle User Evaluation page, the action buttons are at the top of the Current Evaluation card and the Future Preparation card.
The buttons change with the evaluation status, so you only see the actions that apply at that moment. Every action asks you to confirm. You need evaluation management permissions to see them, and the open, close and sync actions are not shown when the cycle is closed.
Which actions are in the Current Evaluation card?
Open Manager Evaluation: moves the evaluation to the manager step.
Open Self Evaluation: shown while the evaluation is in Manager Evaluation. It sends the evaluation back to the self evaluation step.
Close Evaluation: shown while the evaluation is in Manager Evaluation. It ends that step.
Sync evaluation: refreshes the evaluation, for example after the user's manager changes.
Force Manager Score: sets a manager qualitative score. See Manager Qualitative Score (Forced Score).
Close Potential Assessment or Open Potential Assessment: shown when the cycle includes a potential assessment.
How do I set and share the final score?
Set Final Score and Share Final Score are only available to administrators, and only in cycles configured to set the final score manually.
When the evaluation is finished, select Set Final Score and confirm. The status becomes Final [not shared].
Select Share Final Score and confirm to make the result available. The status becomes Final.
How do I open or close the future evaluation?
The Future Preparation card shows its buttons only when the cycle prepares the next cycle separately.
Open Future Self Evaluation and Open Future Evaluation open the future preparation steps.
Close Future Evaluation ends the future preparation.
