Marketplace Item Details Page Reference
Use the Item Details page to review or update an item in the Marketplace Module. This page includes the item information, visibility settings, stock, price, and transaction history linked to that item.
What can I edit on the Item Details page?
The Item Details page lets you create or update a marketplace item. The available fields depend on the item setup, but the main details you can manage are listed below.
Image: Add the item image. This field is required when you create or update an item.
Item name: Enter the item name. This field is required.
Description: Add the item description. This field is required.
User Instructions on Exchange: Use this field to explain what the user should do after selecting the item in Exchange.
SKU: Enter the stock keeping unit for the item, if you use one.
Stock: Set the available stock for the item. This field is required unless the item is marked as Unlimited.
Price: Set the item cost. This field is required.
Shippable: Mark the item as shippable when it needs to be delivered physically.
Unlimited: Use this option when the item does not have a stock limit.
Groups Segmentation: Restrict the item to specific groups when you want to control who can see or request it.
What happens if I leave required fields empty?
Required fields cannot be saved until they are completed. The required fields on this page are Image, Item name, Description, Stock, and Price.
Can I view transactions for a specific item?
Yes. The item page includes an Item Transactions List for that item. From there, you can review related transactions and open a transaction to see its details.
Can I export item information?
Yes. Use Export Report on the item page to download an items report. This is useful when you need to review item data outside GFoundry.
