Gamification Engine - Badge Enable/Disable and All-Disabled State

Use badge status to control whether users can earn a badge. If all badges are disabled, users cannot earn points or coins from badges.

How do I enable or disable a badge?

Go to Gamification Engine > Badges, then find the badge in the list. Use Enable or Disable in the badge actions to change its status.

You can also open Badge Details and edit the badge there if you need to review its configuration before changing it.

What happens when a badge is enabled?

An enabled badge can be earned when its trigger conditions are met. If the badge is linked to points or coins, users can receive them through the badge rule.

Enabled badges are available to the related module and can contribute to user engagement and recognition.

What happens when a badge is disabled?

A disabled badge cannot be earned by users. This also means users cannot earn points or coins from that badge while it is disabled.

The badge still remains in your list, so you can enable it again later if needed.

What does it mean when all badges are disabled?

When every badge is disabled, the badge list shows an all-disabled notice. This means users cannot earn points or coins by completing badge-related challenges or activities.

If you want badges to work again, enable at least one badge.

Can I see who earned a badge?

Yes. Open Badge Details to view the list of users who earned that badge. From there, you can open a user's profile if you need to check their record.

This view is useful when you want to confirm how a badge is being used before changing its status.
