How Feedback 360 uses Skillsets for competency evaluation

Feedback 360 uses a selected skillset to collect ratings on specific skills instead of one overall score. Use a 360 cycle and choose the skillset you want evaluators to rate.

How do I set up a Feedback 360 cycle?

  1. Go to Modules > Evaluation & Careers > Evaluation Cycles and open the cycle you want to edit, or create a new one with Add Cycle.

  2. In the cycle form, enable Feedback 360.

  3. Use Skillset to select the skillset that will be used for this cycle.

  4. Save the cycle.

When you enable Feedback 360, the cycle is based on competency or skill ratings. It does not use one overall performance score.

What does the selected skillset do in a 360 cycle?

The selected skillset defines the skills that will be evaluated in that cycle. Each evaluator rates the employee on the skills in that skillset.

Those ratings are then grouped by peer type. The cycle can collect feedback from different relationship types, such as manager, peer, report, lateral, and self, depending on how you assign peers.

Where do I manage the people who evaluate each user?

  1. Open Modules > Evaluation & Careers > Evaluation Cycles.

  2. Go to Cycle Users.

  3. Select the user and choose Manage Peers.

  4. Add the required peers and select the Peer Type when needed.

The assigned peers evaluate the user’s skills from the selected skillset.

Where can I review the 360 results?

Open the cycle and go to Cycle Details or a specific Cycle User. From there, you can review the user’s evaluations, peer setup, and the cycle’s skill-based results.
