Information – People Directory

Search for colleagues by name or email, open their profile, and recognise them, give them feedback or see their communities from there.

What is the People Directory?

The People Directory is where you find colleagues across your organisation. It makes it easier to know who is who and to reach out to the right person.

How do I search for someone?

  1. Select the magnifying glass. On the web it is in the top menu; on mobile it is in the module header.

  2. Open the People tab.

  3. Type a name or email in Search people by name/email.

  4. If you see a Filters button, use it to narrow the results by the fields your organisation made available (for example job title or department). You can also copy a link to a filtered search to share it.

  5. Select a person in the results to open their profile.

If a search returns more people than the list shows, a message asks you to refine the search.

What information can I see?

A person's profile can include:

  • Name and photo

  • Team

  • The profile fields your organisation shows, for example job title or department

  • Email, when your organisation shows it

  • What the person wrote about their career, experience and goals, and about their talents and interests

  • The communities the person belongs to, when Communities is enabled

Which fields appear depends on how your organisation set up the platform.

What can I do from a profile?

Depending on the modules available to you, the profile offers shortcuts to:

  • Recognition: recognise the person's skills

  • Feedback: give feedback to the person or ask them for feedback

  • Knowledge challenge: choose a quiz and challenge the person, when Learn is available

  • Communities: see and open the communities the person belongs to

You can also use Copy user link to share the person's profile.

Tips

  • Use it to help new employees discover who does what.

  • Encourage cross-team collaboration by making it easy to find the right colleague.
