How to create and configure objectives in a mission
Objectives are the actions users complete inside each milestone. You create them while building the mission, choosing the action that completes each one. After the mission starts, you can still edit their name and text.
How do I add a new objective to a milestone?
Go to Missions > Missions List and open a mission with the status Building, or create a new mission.
Go to the Milestones & Objectives step and open the milestone where you want to add the objective.
Click Add Objective.
Fill in the objective details and click Create.
Which fields can I configure in an objective?
Objective Name: required.
Objective Description: required. Text that explains the objective to users.
Action: the type of action that completes the objective, for example First login or Play quizzes. The list shows the actions of the modules active on your platform.
Trigger: shown when the action has more than one variant, for example Quizzes played.
Object: shown when the trigger refers to a specific item, such as a specific quiz. The field label names the type of item.
Number: shown when the trigger counts occurrences. It must be 1 or more.
If your platform uses more than one language, use the language tabs to fill in the name and description in each language.
How do I update or remove an objective while building the mission?
In the Milestones & Objectives step, click the objective to open it.
Change the fields you need and click Update.
To remove the objective, click the trash icon in the objective header and confirm.
You can drag objectives to change their order inside a milestone.
Can I change an objective after the mission has started?
Partly. Open the mission from Missions List to see Mission Details. In Mission Journey, use Edit Objective to change the Objective Name and the Completion Dialog text. The action that completes the objective can no longer be changed, and objectives cannot be added or removed. If you need a different structure, use Duplicate Mission and adjust the copy.
