Cycle and Period Dashboards, Reports, and Export
Use cycle and period dashboards to review evaluation progress, export reports, and open the reports available for a cycle or period. You can also export evaluation results before changing a user’s career or job category.
What can I do from the cycle dashboard?
The cycle dashboard shows the main information for an evaluation cycle, including its details, user statistics, current evaluation status, future preparation, and potential assessment.
From there, you can open the cycle report options with Export Report or Export Reports, depending on the area you are viewing. Use these actions when you need a file for review or sharing outside GFoundry.
What can I do from the period dashboard?
The period dashboard gives you the same kind of overview for a year cycle period. It shows period details, touchpoints and progress, individual development plans, and goals.
If reports are available for that period, use Export Report or Export Reports to download them. These actions only appear when the selected cycle or period has reports configured.
What do the dashboard fields mean?
Cycle Name: The name of the evaluation cycle.
Date Range: The cycle dates. This helps you check whether the cycle is future, active, or closed.
Evaluation Period: The open and close dates for the evaluation period.
Status: The current state of the cycle or period.
Open Date: The date when the period starts.
Close Date: The date when the period ends.
Goals Percentage: The weight of goals in the final evaluation score.
Peers Percentage: The weight used for peers in the final skills score.
Assigned Groups: The groups that have access to the cycle.
Evaluation 360 Skillset: The skillset used when the cycle is configured as a 360 evaluation.
How do I export evaluation results before changing a user’s career or job category?
Open the user’s evaluation and select Export Evaluation Results before you change the career or job category. This backup is required because changing the career or category resets the evaluation skills and scores.
After the backup is downloaded, continue with the career and category change. If you skip the export, you risk losing the current evaluation data for that user.
