GFoundry Implementation Framework: Key Phases and Steps

A successful GFoundry launch starts with a clear and structured setup process.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Before launching a new GFoundry platform, it is essential to ensure that all setup steps are clearly defined and aligned between the GFoundry team and the client. A structured kickoff enables a faster implementation, reduces rework, and promotes user adoption from day one.

The following plan organizes the setup process into clear phases—from initial discovery to launch—covering the technical, visual, and operational elements critical to project success.

Phase 1: Discovery

  1. Gather and validate the project scope

Understand the client’s goals, priorities, target audience, and main challenges.

  2. Define communication channels and collaboration platforms

Select tools to manage the project and facilitate communication between teams (e.g., Notion, Slack, Teams, Drive).

Phase 2: Planning and Technical Setup

  1. Select modules and features to activate

Align the selected modules with the project roadmap and defined objectives. Know more about GFoundry's Modules here.

  2. Configure integration with people data

Connect GFoundry to the organization’s HR data sources (e.g., SAP, Primavera, etc.).

  3. Enable and test single sign-on (SSO)

Ensure seamless and secure login through the client’s internal authentication system. View more here.

  4. Set up additional system integrations

Identify and configure any other required integrations with the client’s software ecosystem (e.g., communication tools, ERP systems, analytics platforms). View more here.

Phase 3: Platform Customization

  1. Define the platform name and domain

Decide how the platform will be accessed and displayed (e.g., platformname.company.com).

  2. Create the base visual assets (Feel & Look)

Customize the logo, color scheme, and background images according to the organization’s branding. View more here.

Phase 4: Mobile Apps and Final Validation

  1. Set up and launch mobile apps (iOS & Android)

Activate white-label apps (if applicable), prepare all assets (name, icon, colors), test functionality, and submit to app stores. Ensure internal communication is ready for the mobile launch. View more here.

Phase 5: Launch

  1. Final validation and client approval

Review the full setup with the client and confirm everything is aligned and ready.

  2. Internal communication and onboarding plan

Define how the platform will be introduced to users (e.g., emails, online sessions, initial gamification strategy).
