Push Notifications: send notifications and review sent notifications

Send a push notification from the Push Notifications page and review the notifications already sent, with their audience, message, date and delivery status.

How do I send a push notification?

  1. Go to Information > Push Notifications.

  2. Select Send Push Notification.

  3. Write the Message (up to 255 characters).

  4. In Select Target, choose who receives it: All Users, Groups, or, when available on your platform, Campaign, Articles & News or Communities. Then pick the group, campaign, article or community.

  5. If a Filter field appears, you can narrow the audience, for example to Users who didn't play yet or, for a campaign, Users with open objectives. Leave None to send to everyone in the target.

  6. Check the audience summary, which shows how many users will potentially receive the notification.

  7. Select Send.

Send stays disabled while the audience is being checked and when the audience has zero users. If Send Push Notification is disabled when the page opens, wait for the page to finish loading.

How do I review notifications I have already sent?

  1. Go to Information > Push Notifications.

  2. Review the Sent Push Notifications List.

  3. Use the search field to find a notification.

  4. Check the columns: Audience (who it was sent to, and any filter used), Message, Created and Status.

How do I understand the delivery status?

Hover the status icon to see its meaning:

  • Push Notification delivered successfully (check mark)

  • Push Notification delivery in progress (spinning icon)

  • Push Notification queued for delivery (hourglass)

  • Push Notification failed to deliver (red cross)

If nothing has been sent yet, the page shows There are no Push Notifications.
