Where do I set skill validation KPI and skill evidence API fields?

Open the evaluation item you want to configure, then look for the skill validation fields in its details. These fields are used when you want a skill to be supported by KPI data or by evidence coming from another system.

Fill them in only if your process uses these integrations. If you do not have a KPI source or an evidence source, leave them empty.

What does Skill Validation KPI do?

  • Skill Validation KPI: Stores the KPI reference used to validate the skill. Use this when the skill should be checked against a KPI-based measure.

  • Skill Validation API: Stores the API reference used to retrieve or connect validation data for the skill. Enter the exact identifier expected by your external source.

What does Skill Evidence API do?

  • Skill Evidence API: Stores the API reference used to bring evidence into the evaluation. Use this when proof of the skill comes from another system or service.

What should I check before saving?

  1. Enter only the references your external process needs.

  2. Leave the fields empty if the skill is validated manually.

  3. Make sure the values match the identifiers used in your external system.

  4. Save the evaluation item.
